Superior to who you were yesterday
Superior You isn't about being better than anyone else. It's about becoming a finer version of yourself: better dressed, more at ease and kinder to the person in the mirror.
Superior You is a trading name of Thomas & Russell Ltd, a UK company (no. 17220536) with its registered office at 35 Wonastow Road, Monmouth NP25 5AH. Contact us at hello@superioryou.co.uk.
Looking well and feeling well are one and the same
Most style advice is written for those who already know what they're doing, or is selling this season's trend. Most self-help overlooks a simple truth: how you look shapes how you feel, and how you feel shows in how you look.
We bring the two together with considered, honest guidance for real people with real lives, of every age, shape and budget.
Everyone has their colours
And cuts, and lines that make them look their very best.
Fit before label
Proportion and tailoring matter more than price.
Fewer, finer things
A considered wardrobe over a crowded one.
Confidence is practised
It is built through small daily rituals, not something you are born with.
Private styling
One-to-one consultations covering colour, proportion and wardrobe, with a curated shopping edit and preparation for the occasions that matter. Opening soon, by invitation.
Your privacy
Who we are. Superior You (superioryou.co.uk) is a trading name of Thomas & Russell Ltd (company no. 17220536), 35 Wonastow Road, Monmouth NP25 5AH. Thomas & Russell Ltd is the controller of the information described here and decides how it is used. Contact us about anything in this notice, or to see, correct or delete your information, at hello@superioryou.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Superior You is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
The Style Profile. If you're not signed in, the Style Profile runs in your browser and nothing is sent to us. Your latest result is kept on your own device so it's there when you return; clearing your browser data removes it. If you're signed in, or choose to save your result after signing in, it is saved to your profile (see below).
Your Profile. If you create a profile, we store your email, an optional first name and your questionnaire answers: your Style Profile (including your frame), scent preferences, wardrobe sizes and budget, lifestyle and occasions, and confidence goals. We keep your five most recent answers to each questionnaire so your profile can evolve. We use this only to provide the profile you asked for and to tailor recommendations and content to you; the legal basis is that it's needed to provide this service to you. We never ask about your health. You can download all your data or delete your profile at any time from your profile page; deleting it also removes you from our email lists. Profiles unused for two years are deleted automatically.
Best Angle Studio. The studio uses your camera only when you choose to, and your photos are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else, and they disappear when you leave the page unless you choose to download them to your own device. If you're signed in, you can choose to save just your result (for example "left side, chin slightly down") to your profile.
Who can see your profile. Authorised Superior You staff at Thomas & Russell Ltd can view and manage member profiles to provide and support the service. Staff access is protected by additional sign-in security, and every staff access to member data is logged. We may add a private note to your profile (for example after a styling consultation); it's included if you ask for a copy of your data.
Profiles we create for you. With your agreement, for example after a private styling consultation, we may create a profile for you using your email address, your name and a note about your consultation, and email you a link to sign in. The legal basis is that it's needed to provide the service you asked for. You can view, download or delete it like any other profile.
Records of staff actions. We keep a record of staff actions on profiles (what was done, by whom, when and the email address involved) for one year, including after a profile is deleted, so we can show we handle your information properly. It's included when you download your data or ask us for it.
Signing in. Sign-in links are sent by our email provider, Resend, which is based in the United States; your email address is shared with it only to deliver the link. To prevent abuse, we keep a scrambled (keyed hash) version of your IP address with each sign-in request for two days, then delete it.
Private styling register of interest. If you register, we store what you tell us (your email, optional name, the services, format and investment range you choose, optional town and note) together with the country your request came from. We use this only to gauge demand for private styling and to contact you about it, on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We keep it until private styling launches, or for at most two years, then delete it.
The Sunday Letter, Boutique and Scent Edit early access. If you subscribe, we store your email, which list you joined, the page you joined from and your country. We use it only to send you that email, on the basis of your consent. Unsubscribe or ask us to delete it at any time. If we move to a mailing service, we'll update this notice to name it.
Cookies and storage. We use no advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign in, we set two strictly necessary cookies: __Host-sy_session keeps you signed in for up to 30 days, and sy_in lets pages show "Your Profile". Your browser's local storage holds your latest Style Profile result, any poses and articles you save for later, your confirmation that you're 18 or over (for Intimacy & Relationships) and, briefly, where to return after signing in. None of this is sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Visitor statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets no cookies, doesn't track you across sites and doesn't identify you.
Intimacy & Relationships. We don't ask about your intimate life or sexual health, and nothing you read in this section is saved to a profile.
Where your data is held. Everything above is held on Cloudflare, our hosting provider. Deleted information may remain in Cloudflare's short-term backups and logs for up to 30 days before it is gone for good. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and photographs from Unsplash, so those services receive your IP address when you visit, as with any website you load content from.
We never sell your data or share it for marketing.
Affiliate disclosureHow the Boutique works
Links in the Boutique and the Intimate Edit are affiliate links, and each one is labelled Ad. If you buy through one, the retailer pays us a commission, at no extra cost to you. We recommend only things we would genuinely choose, and commission never decides what we feature.
When you click an affiliate link, you leave our site. The retailer and its affiliate network (such as Awin, Impact or Rakuten Advertising) may then set their own cookies to record that you came from us, under their own privacy policies. We don't receive your name, your basket or what you bought, only that a sale happened and the commission due.
To see which recommendations are useful, we count clicks on our product links. Each click records only the product, the retailer, where on our site the link was and the date. We don't record your IP address, device, cookies or account, and we delete these counts after 25 months.
